Dr. Niazy Selim is an assistant professor at the University of Kansas and has worked at various medical universities for over 10 years. An experienced Board Certified Surgeon, Dr. Selim has extensive training in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. He also has specialized training in internal medicine and the liver. He earned his medical degree from the Mansoura University of Medicine, Mansoura, Egypt. He also has a Master's and Doctorial Degree in Surgery. He received additional training at Emory University, Atlanta, and University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Selim has an understanding and appreciation of different cultures.
